Uhm - one of us isn't making a lot of sense, and I'm pretty sure it's me...

Then again, possibly two of us aren't making a lot of sense. Did you
make a lot of sense? In that case, what are you talking about?

So, Eminem has been damaged by a pig, and is now rotting in Denmark,
AGAIN?

(I'm wondering if I would blame a pig for damaging Eminem)

(More topic-drift, I almost damaged a pedestrian with my car this
morning. I was very carefully trying not to hit cyclists ignoring
red traffic-lights, so carefully that I didn't saw a man also
ignoring traffic-lights. I must've scared him pretty seriously.)

I do not make sense, I admit it.

I think it was from when I first visited #aglami on IRC. My "welcome"
went something like:

"Hi"
"Hi M0ffe"
"Where are you from?"
"Denmark"
"Oh, more pork"

That is true. It is some kind of other way to spell "Møffe" (see my
sig), but the ø is unusable many places (eg. IRC nicknames), so I
replace it with 0 (zero) in places, I cannot use ø.

Well, I guess I could use oe instead of ø, but that does - opposite to
aa<->å (as you probably all know by now) - just look plain silly.

(In old-style danish, å was written aa, ø has been used "as is" for
ages)

So it means "Your head is in my arse" or "Your head is in an arse"?

Well, because of the different grammatical structures in Latin, it says
that "Your head is in your arse." The arse is implied to be yours
because the head on the body in question has already been explained as
yours. Just like in Spanish, when you literally have to say "I brush
(myself) the teeth" when you mean "I brush my teeth".

Fun, huh?

But please don't be offended - I was only joking. :) It's usually just
the first phrase that comes to mind when I'm trying to remember my old
lessons. And yes, that is one that the teacher gave us!

How are you? Nearly running people over is often as much (if not

Only if not explicitly referenced at the bottom of a posting.[2]

I asked my Latin teacher what ano meant. Heh.

It can also mean an old woman. So you could have meant:

"Your head is in an old woman."

Wahey!

No, otherwise it gets too confusing for words.

Isn't that the most important point about afda footnotes, being confusing?

Y'know a lot of these postings I made yesterday would've been so much
more "of the moment" had I posted them on Tuesday when I wrote them. I
don't know what was happening back in those days that meant I thought
I'd sent them rather than having them on this computer's harddisk
waiting to be sent until yesterday. Hmm..

What happens in the deep and distant future, then, when ISFN has been
expanded past [100]?

The Google Groups Federation of Planets (or whatever) will still have
records of your postings of these times where you explicitly
referenced (just the other day, I spotted, but can't be bothered to
cite message ID) footnote [9].

The ISFN should be used with explicitly referenced footnotes, as a
method of reducing bandwidth, but because they're a growing and
mutating bunch'o'footnotes, explicitly referenced footnotes at the
actual foot of posts (feet of posts?) should also be the wossname.

It's for the future, you see. Posterity, and all that.

What also can it also mean beyond also meaning "an old woman"?

I dunno about "Wahey!", sounds more like a sombre thing to me.
